One of the North fingers of Baffin Bay in South Texas is called Alazan Bay.  It is a very shallow Bay and has many hidden reefs and "worm" mounds.  As with most of the Laguna Madre area, High Tides will reach areas known as Tidal Flats and will often cover the low lying areas surrounding the Bay.
